About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Associate to join our team at Galaxy USA. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing financial models for our various business units, with a focus on trading and protocol services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Galaxy's various business lines, including trading, asset management, and mining.
  • Update and maintain various daily, weekly, and quarterly P&L reporting streams.
  • Update and maintain FP&A models and reconciliations vs. other data sources.
  • Leverage Python and SQL to support model development, build data pipelines, and automate workflows.
  • Assist with projects translating Excel and Python-based models into automation requirements.
  • Work with business units and FP&A team members to model new business requirements.
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience with financial models, business intelligence tools (Python, SQL, Excel, etc.), projections, and their mechanics.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • An understanding of various asset classes (FX, futures, options, etc.) and how to navigate an income statement and balance sheet.
  • Intellectually curious self-starter, comfortable in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detailed-oriented.
  • Strong appetite for problem-solving in a high-growth business.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
