POSITION: CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (CBA) FOR SCHOOL-BASED EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER
STATUS: PRN
LOCATION: Hazelwood, MO
HOURS: Up to 29 hours per week
COMPENSATION: $55 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Valid BCBA certification in Missouri
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with early childhood populations in educational environments
- Proficient in conducting Functional Behavior Analyses and preparing detailed reports
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Preferred experience in supervising behavior aides
REPORTS TO: COUNSELING SUPERVISOR
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Behavior Analyst is responsible for conducting Functional Behavior Analyses, creating treatment plans based on the findings, and overseeing the implementation of these plans by paraprofessionals. This role involves collaboration with educators and students to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Analyses and generate comprehensive reports.
- Communicate FBA findings to educational staff and families.
- Develop treatment strategies based on FBA results.
- Supervise the execution of FBA plans by paraprofessionals.
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.
- Model effective interventions for aides.
- Deliver direct IEP services to early childhood students.
- Offer ongoing guidance and oversight to paraprofessionals regarding behavioral interventions.
- Refer families to community resources as necessary.
- Conduct training sessions for staff and community members on behavioral strategies.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
