We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team as a travel nurse in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in conducting patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and documenting findings.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists, including creating exercise programs, providing education to patients, and conducting progress assessments.
  • Implement interventions, such as exercises, modalities, and other treatments, as directed by physical therapists.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Oregon.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
