Role Summary

Automotive service consultants are responsible for welcoming clients, understanding their vehicle issues or service requests, identifying the necessary services, and preparing repair documentation. Should additional repairs be required beyond the initial service request, they will provide cost estimates and contact the client for approval. They also inform clients about other available services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate service appointments for maintenance, repairs, and recalls
  • Welcome clients and assess their vehicles
  • Provide recommendations on essential and optional services along with associated costs
  • Monitor the progress of the client's vehicle from service entry to job completion
  • Keep clients updated on any changes during the service process
  • Upon job completion, review the service order with the client to ensure all concerns are addressed
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and deliver an exceptional client experience
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Basic understanding of vehicle mechanical systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive demeanor, and effective communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic, proficient computer skills, and professional appearance
  • Successful completion of MVR and background checks
  • Valid driver's license from the state of employment
  • Two forms of government-issued identification (e.g., Driver's License, Social Security Card)
