Automotive Painter

Job Summary:

CarMax is seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team. As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish and adhering to CarMax's paint standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply paint to vehicles using various techniques and equipment

• Ensure all vehicles meet CarMax's paint standards

• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities with the team

• Execute standardized work as defined

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to CarMax's 5S standards

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in automotive painting or a related field preferred

• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• May be required to work in a noisy or inclement weather environment

• Adhere to all CarMax policies, including Time and Attendance Policy, Asset Protection, and Culture of Integrity

• Follow all government regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards

• Requires walking or standing for extended periods
