We are seeking skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurses to join our team in Sewickley and surrounding areas. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including private homes and community-based facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner
  • Participate in and update the nursing care plan
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience as a practicing nurse (we offer an excellent New Grad Program for recent graduates)
  • Nursing License (must be active and in good standing with the board)
  • CPR Certification (must be current, Hands-on BLS)
