At SERVPRO, we're seeking self-motivated and proactive individuals to join our team in helping customers in their greatest moments of need. As a Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for facilitating a positive customer experience and ensuring customer satisfaction of services. Your primary roles and responsibilities will include mitigating onsite services, following safe work practices, and documenting detailed and accurate job files.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate a positive customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction of services.
Mitigate onsite services including cleaning, removing flooring, removing drywall, and removal of cabinetry.
Follow safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.

Requirements

Effective written and oral communication
Basic math skills
Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
High school diploma/GED
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation

Starts at $14 to $16 per hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit.
Bonus pay for after-hours calls.
