Your Role:
We are in search of a passionate music educator who excels in crafting music courses tailored for diverse audiences and skill levels. The ideal candidate will be a creative composer and educator, adept at developing engaging lessons on topics such as reading musical notation or mastering rhythmic patterns. You will be an integral part of our Music team, dedicated to delivering exceptional educational content through research-driven methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative curricula and educational materials for music-related courses catering to learners of all ages.
- Identify, compose, and arrange songs suitable for various proficiency levels, providing artistic guidance to fellow content creators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the in-app music learning experience.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data regarding learner engagement with the course, utilizing insights for continuous improvement.
- Establish and refine processes for scaling the production of app-based educational content.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of freelance content creators as necessary.
- Expertise in Music Education: A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching and designing music curricula, with a strong foundation in pedagogical content knowledge.
- Piano Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to play the piano and experience in teaching piano skills.
- Composition and Production Skills: Proficient in composing and arranging music for beginner and intermediate learners, with experience in audio production.
- Creativity: Ability to think innovatively and create engaging content for a diverse audience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong focus on efficiency and continuous improvement in workflows.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Music, Music Education, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to work full-time and adapt to the needs of the role.
- Experience in designing digital content and curricula for music education.
- Proficiency in guitar.
- Experience in project and people management.
