The Host/Cashier plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests at Redhawk. This position involves managing guest reception and facilitating a smooth dining experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Warmly greets guests upon arrival and promptly escorts them to their designated dining area.
  • Informs guests about expected wait times during peak periods.
  • Assists in managing the restaurant's seating and reservation system efficiently.

In a Buffet Setting:
Takes beverage orders and provides information about the various food options available.

In an À La Carte Setting:
Seats guests and presents the menu selections.

  • Handles incoming calls and manages reservation requests.
  • Confirms reservations and any complimentary services, if applicable.
  • Processes payments from guests in a courteous and efficient manner, when necessary.
  • Follows established cash handling policies and procedures diligently.
  • Addresses guest inquiries and directs them to management when needed.
  • Maintains the podium area by restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Assists with special requests from guests as required.
  • Provides information regarding menu items, operational hours, and pricing.
  • Upholds professional grooming standards and serves as a role model for appearance.
  • Monitors guest needs, ensuring all requests are met promptly in line with company policies.
  • Builds a professional rapport with marketing hosts to prioritize guest services.
  • Exhibits promptness, efficiency, and courtesy in guest interactions.
  • Records guest preferences in the reservation system for enhanced future service.
  • Utilizes guests' names when appropriate to personalize service.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Prior experience in fast food or quick service cashier roles is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
