Position Overview:
Providence is seeking applications for our RN Labor and Delivery Unit Fellowship. This program is designed for Registered Nurses who are looking to transition into a new specialty with the support of a structured curriculum, experienced mentors, and practical learning experiences.

Role Summary:
As an RN Fellow at Providence St. Joseph Health, you will embark on a guided journey into the Labor and Delivery specialty. This fellowship is ideal for RNs with over 12 months of continuous nursing experience who are eager to expand their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in hands-on learning experiences under the guidance of seasoned preceptors.
- Apply specialized training to provide exceptional care to patients.
- Participate in a comprehensive curriculum tailored to enhance your expertise in Labor and Delivery.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, specifically in a new specialty.

Preferred:
- National Certification in the area of specialty upon hire.
