Job Description

Job Title: Outpost Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Outpost Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our tasting room in the Arts District of Los Angeles. This role will be responsible for managing staff, property, and customer service, as well as developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead, guide, and direct all staff members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Staff Management: Develop and implement internal employee relations programs to foster a cohesive and respectful work environment.
  • Sales and Marketing: Determine proper sales and wine club targets with the Regional Manager and develop corresponding strategies to meet or exceed these goals.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze, manage, and determine proper inventory levels each week.
  • Marketing and Events: Propose, develop, and consistently implement new concepts to increase returning and new customer traffic into Outposts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Gather, analyze, and report weekly sales reports to the Marketing Director and Regional Manager.

Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS degree preferred, or relevant experience.
  • Experience: Prior management experience of multiple locations in restaurant or retail sales.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Outlook and Word, experience with e-commerce platforms, social media, and POS experience.

Salary Range: $67,000 to $75,000 annually.
