About the Role

HazTek Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team in the Boston, MA region. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety compliance and best practices are implemented across our commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings to promote a culture of safety
  • Complete accident reports and conduct thorough investigations
  • Perform daily safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards
  • Oversee subcontractors and contractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Develop and implement effective safety strategies for Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of direct construction safety experience with knowledge of safety standards
  • Experience in pharmaceutical construction is preferred
  • Degree in a safety-related field is preferred
  • OSHA 30-hr in Construction certification is required
  • OSHA 510/500 certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
