Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Southcoast Health. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Department, you will provide high-quality therapy services to patients in their homes, promoting independence and improving their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, Rehab & Integrated Services, you will perform duties to support the VNA Rehabilitation Department. Your primary focus will be on providing therapy services to prevent disability, relieve pain, and develop, improve, or restore motor function in patients. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required, along with a current license in Occupational Therapy by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification is also necessary. Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database, and electronic records programs, are required. One year of experience in occupational therapy is preferred. You must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or have a valid exemption.
