Job Summary

PACS Inc is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Therapist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients within 24 hours of physician referral, developing effective treatment plans, and supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
  • Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review meetings, and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.
  • Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, recertification documentation, and treatment changes per policy and procedures.
  • Instruct patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
  • Participate in discharge planning and act as a clinical preceptor for affiliating CFY/RFP Speech-Language Pathologist and student programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Speech-Language Therapy.
  • Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.
  • Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state and must meet continue education requirements per state practices.
