Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides ongoing coaching, expertise, and consultation to internal stakeholders in areas such as behavior modification, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions (including terminations) in alignment with the company's values, policies, and procedures.
Offers assistance to managers and employees on moderately complex issues.
May oversee and administer programs such as Recognition and Educational Assistance.
Facilitates the implementation of relocation and expatriate services.
Addresses general escalated compensation inquiries and executes processes that do not necessitate a specialist, including those related to equity, bonuses, job changes, promotions, and demotions.
Handles general escalated benefits inquiries and performs benefit processes that do not require specialist intervention, such as service calculations and adjustments.
Manages the intake of accident reports, submits initial workers' compensation claims to vendors, and provides ongoing case management support.
Processes forms for employees to access statutory leave-related benefits.
Supports payroll processes, including off-cycle requests and the processing of on-call and bonus pay plans.
Monitors and analyzes incidents related to workers' compensation.
May assist supervisors and managers in evaluating requests for ergonomic assessments and accommodations.
May provide guidance or recommendations in partnership with the relevant management to ensure a safe work environment in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
Advises management on performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and recognition strategies.
Guides managers on aligning employee performance plans with organizational objectives and the overall quality of these plans.
Assists and educates management on compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Investigates and resolves workplace issues, including claims of harassment and discrimination.
Facilitates communication among employees, management, and other HR functions as necessary.
Assembles and reviews documentation to conduct thorough investigations and establish case merits, maintaining comprehensive records as per established protocols.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of policies, guidelines, and employment laws across all regions and functions.
May assist in researching and compiling documentation for litigation or compliance charges.
Prepares reports and analyses to support HR activities.
Assists management in evaluating requests for accommodations not associated with approved leaves of absence.
Collaborates with Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and other HR areas to resolve complex complaints or issues.
Performs additional tasks or related work as assigned by management.
Conducts exit interviews and compliance assessments.
Compiles data and conducts analyses to support Employee Relations activities.
Maintains confidential employee files and documentation related to disciplinary actions and investigations.
Ensures the confidentiality of information and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Maintains close collaboration with Centers of Excellence and HR teams to ensure alignment with corporate HR strategies.
Drives processes to ensure employee capabilities meet current and future standards.
Develops and promotes feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement of HR services.
Participates in or leads process improvement initiatives to achieve business results within HR.
Provides exceptional service to all callers.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in human resources employee relations, with knowledge of applicable regulations.

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to research and analyze data to formulate valid conclusions and recommendations.
  • Skilled in investigating and resolving employee issues of moderate complexity.
  • Proficient in preparing comprehensive reports and articulating ideas clearly.
  • Thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage with individuals in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
