Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Analytica. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in data science and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of predictive analytics models and scripts using Python and R
  • Collaborate with project managers to execute quality management programs and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Coordinate and maintain user stories and requirements
  • Represent the open source analytics community and their associated notebook/integrated development environment capabilities
  • Develop and deliver internal analytics to support cost estimation and forecasts, performance metrics, and data management scripts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytics discipline or related field; master's preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in statistical analysis
  • Experience with development of predictive analytics models and scripting languages such as Python and R
  • Knowledge of and experience with public cloud providers Amazon Web Services architecture, tools, and cloud methodologies
  • Experience with performing analytics from a cloud platform
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps principles and practices
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public trust security clearance for the supported agencies
