CoFi is a fast-growing fintech startup based in Utah that specializes in construction lending, payments, and finance. Our proprietary lending, risk mitigation, and payment software platform is revolutionizing the construction industry by increasing lending availability, speeding up payments, and de-risking construction finance.

Job Requirements
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in C# and React development or the equivalent.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain applications using these technologies.
  • Strong understanding of modern software development best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that align with product requirements and specifications.
  • Coding and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices and coding standards. Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Feature Development: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and deployment. Contribute to feature brainstorming, planning, and estimation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and effective collaboration throughout the development process.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues, debugging code and identifying root causes. Proactively suggest improvements and optimizations to enhance the software's performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and user guides, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Share knowledge and promote a culture of learning within the development team.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to teammates to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Agile Development: Embrace agile development methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Collaboration Tools: Utilize collaboration and project management tools, such as version control systems, issue tracking systems, and communication platforms, to facilitate efficient teamwork and project coordination.

Office Hours

For your success and the success of the company, maximum effort is required for this job description. Office hours are as follows:

  • M-F: 9-5 in office
  • Unlimited PTO. Managers approval required on all PTO requests.
  • 2 week PTO required per year
