About the Role

We're seeking a skilled iOS engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our innovative smart home diffuser application. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing a native iOS experience for managing fragrance subscriptions, enhancing controls for our existing hardware device, and building a new user experience for managing brand new diffusers for spaces other than the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a native iOS experience for managing fragrance subscriptions
  • Enhance controls for our existing hardware device to match new hardware capabilities
  • Build a new user experience for managing brand new diffusers for spaces other than the home
  • Work with our QA team to ensure the application is testable and deliverable
  • Leverage existing technology to create a world-class user experience in controlling the Pura Smart Home Diffuser: AWS IoT, Firebase, and Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Identify areas where we can improve and work to minimize tech debt
Requirements
  • Demonstrated emphasis on delivering quality solutions
  • Ability to own and deliver projects with little oversight
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience
  • Emphasis on code quality and customer experience
  • Ability to work with remote employees using video calls and frequent written communication
