About This Position

The Facilities Maintenance Worker plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and functionality of Primerica's buildings and facilities. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform routine maintenance tasks, assess campus facilities, and collaborate with various departments to facilitate personnel moves and transfers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures, appliances, and door and cabinet hardware to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain campus facilities to ensure they meet company standards for appearance and functionality.
  • Assess campus facilities to identify and report any issues or concerns to the responsible parties.
  • Repair plumbing, appliances, furniture, wall damage, doors, and other building components as needed.
  • Maintain and perform typical repairs on company vehicles.
  • Collaborate with IT, facilities, and other departments to facilitate personnel moves and transfers, including transporting personal belongings and equipment.
  • Build new cubicles and office desks, including panels, work surfaces, electrical hookups, cabinets, and other furniture accessories.
  • Construct new spaces on campus, including wall track and stud placement, hanging drywall, mudding joints, sanding, painting, installing door frames, door panels, door hardware, and windows.
  • Set up for department/company meetings and events.
  • Perform minor carpentry tasks, such as replacing carpet tiles and baseboards.
