About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at NALS Apartment Homes. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment communities, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
  • Ensure all service requests, callbacks, and work orders are completed promptly and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Turn vacant apartments, including painting, locks, light bulbs, and other necessary tasks.
  • Clean and maintain pool and spa facilities, including chemical application and furniture cleanliness.
  • Assist in maintaining the workplace and maintenance shop, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Respond to after-hours calls and emergency situations, such as sewer backups, flooding, and fires.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, preferably in a large multi-family community.
  • Highly skilled in HVAC, plumbing, and pool and spa maintenance.
  • Knowledge of building systems and the unit turn process.
  • Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment, and work in all types of weather.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
