Job Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The Residential Maintenance Attendant is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the living spaces and surrounding grounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily cleanliness and upkeep of residences and grounds, including regular deep cleaning.
  • Set up outdoor furniture according to weather conditions and ensure daily cleaning of outdoor items.
  • Maintain the outdoor grilling area in pristine condition.
  • Perform weekly maintenance on pool covers.
  • Regularly sweep and wash patios, terraces, and hardscape areas.
  • Conduct routine cleaning of windows, both inside and out.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team for deep cleaning tasks.
  • Manage floor care in the main residence and other structures, including mopping and polishing.
  • Coordinate with landscaping staff.
  • Remove cobwebs from all interior and exterior areas.
  • Assist in holiday decoration setup and takedown.
  • Support housekeepers in maintaining fine china and silverware.
  • Help with table setup and service for meals and events.
  • Assist in moving furniture and assembling new items.
  • Handle waste disposal, including trash and recyclables.
  • Keep all areas organized, including storage spaces.
  • Replace batteries in remotes as necessary.
  • Manage dry-cleaning pickups and drop-offs.
  • Contribute to the organization of residential housekeeping tasks.
  • Help create and maintain task lists for various timeframes.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a log of maintenance requests.
  • Check and report any non-functioning lights.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of household items.
  • Support event planning and execution at the residence.
  • May be required to assist at other properties as needed.
  • Occasional shopping for household supplies may be necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Experience in housekeeping for large homes with multiple staff members.
  • Hands-on cleaning expertise.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent references.
  • Familiarity with smart home technology.
  • Proficient in basic computer tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.
  • Availability to work weekends or holidays as required.
  • Punctuality and reliability in meeting schedules.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to approach challenges with a positive mindset.
  • Professional demeanor at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in and around the residence.
  • Capable of lifting and moving household items.
  • Comfortable using stairs and ladders.
  • Proficient in operating household cleaning and laundry equipment.
  • Able to use standard communication devices for recordkeeping.
  • Willingness to be available for on-call duties.
  • Ability to travel independently.
