Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Government courses at our institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a variety of settings, including traditional classrooms, online, and potentially in a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide innovative and engaging instruction to students in Government courses
  • Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the subject area of teaching responsibility
  • Develop and implement curriculum-based outcomes and assessments
  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Political Science or a related field
  • 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science
  • Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in a two-year college or university
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of settings, including traditional classrooms, online, and potentially in a correctional facility.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position will be based on the candidate's course load per semester.
