We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ICU Nursing Manager to lead and oversee our ICU departments at The George Washington University Hospital. This leadership role is critical to ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical and operational leadership to the ICU nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of excellent care for critically ill patients.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet the fluctuating demands of ICU patient care.
- Promote and ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based care protocols.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development, and staff engagement.
- Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, and allied health professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care across all ICU units.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and nursing practice.
- Serve as a mentor and role model to ICU nursing staff, promoting continuous education and professional growth.
- Oversee unit-based budgets and resource management, ensuring efficient use of hospital resources.
- Lead efforts in patient and staff satisfaction, focusing on safety and excellent patient care experiences.

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
