About the Opportunity

The Class A CDL Delivery Driver is a critical role at Eagle Rock Distributing Co., responsible for safely and efficiently transporting beverages to various customer locations. This full-time position requires a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card, as well as excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate delivery trucks to transport beverages to customer locations
  • Load and unload beverage products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Merchandise and stock coolers to increase sell-through of products
  • Manage rotation of product and maintain a neat inventory in each account
  • Complete sales tickets, obtain payment for product, and related paperwork
  • Maintain delivery logs, records, and necessary documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols while handling and transporting beverages
  • Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and address any delivery-related issues promptly
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clean motor vehicle record for the past three years
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and understand retailers and co-workers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn product and account characteristics
  • Comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgment, and taking initiative
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Commitment to working safely and maintaining a fun and friendly work environment
