Computer Services Incorporated is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and ensuring the performance of our database environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various database maintenance activities, including identifying failures, researching anomalies, and resolving problems of a routine nature.
- Apply patches and execute scripts to ensure data access and consistency.
- Code programs to derive logical processes on technical platforms.
- Write SQL jobs and modify stored source code for efficiency defragmentation and database statistics updating.
- Assist with capacity planning, data loading, and maintenance plans.
- Provide assistance with database backups as required.
- Accredited university, college, or trade school education and/or equivalent experience and/or training in applicable technology.
- At least one year of hands-on work experience in relevant technical fields.
- Demonstrated technical competencies with database technologies, including MS SQL, MariaDB, MySQL, DMSII, etc.
- Mathematical, reasoning, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and teamwork-focused environment.

- The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
