Bookstore Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bookseller to join our team at Barnes & Noble. As a Bookseller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment, and sharing your passion for books with customers.

• Customer Service: Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Store Presentation: Maintain a visually appealing store, create displays, and ensure a clean and organized environment.
• Sales and Merchandising: Leverage key campaigns, promote books, and identify opportunities to tailor merchandise selection to reflect the community.
• Knowledge and Education: Stay up-to-date on books and the industry, support the store with knowledge, and educate customers about new releases and bestsellers.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals, support cluster initiatives, and maintain a positive work environment.

• Passion for Books: A love for reading and knowledge of books is essential.
• Positive Attitude: A can-do attitude, enthusiasm for working with people, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and respectfully express oneself.
