Job Overview

Leading organization in the manufacturing sector is on the lookout for a meticulous and efficient Glass Fabrication Specialist.


Position: Glass Fabrication Specialist

Compensation: $25.00 Per Hour (Dependent on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate hydrogen-oxygen and natural gas torches for lamp production.
  • Utilize Tesla coils and mechanical vacuum pumps for lamp loading and filling.
  • Fill lamps with mercury and various gases as required.
  • Place lamps on burn-in racks and initiate burn-in processes.
  • Cut and prepare glass using cutting saws or knives.
  • Balance lamps on lathes for precision.
  • Fabricate, cap, set, and shrink lamp bodies.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain the cutting area.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in manufacturing, including inspection of parts or assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and test specifications.
  • Proficient in performing visual inspections.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Must possess effective communication skills in English.
  • Capability to meet all inspection criteria with good hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Physical and mental capacity to fulfill essential job functions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
