We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist to join our team at Mimbres Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home. As a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automated routine blood tests, preparing specimens for microscope examination.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

  • MLT: Associated Degree from an accredited college or university in a Laboratory Field, with a degree in a Medical Laboratory Sciences or one of the biological or chemical sciences.
  • MT-BS degree from an accredited college or university required in Medical Technology, with a degree in Medical Technology or one of the biological or chemical sciences.
  • ASCP Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
