Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Renown Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Interventional Department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Interventional imaging equipment and related machinery to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Verify and execute physician's orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams, ensuring proper preparation and patient safety
  • Perform as first assist to Interventional Cardiologists and Radiologists, setting up sterile trays and maintaining room sterility
  • Determine the best method of obtaining optimal Interventional examinations, regulating patient flow, and consulting with radiologists to determine contrast media applications or variances in established procedures
  • Continually evaluate exam quality and make necessary corrections to improve image quality
Requirements
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or RCIS, or completion of AMA-approved hospital-based program
  • No experience required, but preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of two years as a diagnostic Radiologic staff technologist or one year as a diagnostic Radiologic staff technologist plus completion of in-house training program
  • Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T. (R) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
