We are seeking a skilled Pantry Chef to join the culinary team at Foothills Milling Company Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and execute menus that showcase your culinary expertise and meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Operations: Ensure the kitchen is well-organized and equipped with necessary tools and equipment to maintain a high level of productivity.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations and standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Culinary Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation.
- Certifications and Training: ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is required, or the ability to obtain it soon after.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
