About the Role

This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about diesel engine repair and maintenance. As a trainee, you'll work under the supervision of experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Repair and maintenance of marine, industrial, and EPG engines and related systems
  • Pre-delivery inspections of engine products
  • Preparation and modification of sold engine products for delivery to customers
  • Assistance with field repairs at customer locations
  • Operation and maintenance of engine dyno
  • Support for Electric Power Shop technicians as needed
  • Accurate documentation of activities and preparation of required documentation


What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals with a strong foundation in diesel technology and a passion for learning. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree from a fully accredited college or technical/vocational school in Diesel Technology or a closely related field, and a minimum of 1 year of directly related experience in a heavy industrial environment. A combination of education and work experience may also be considered.
