We are an expanding private, non-profit community mental health center located in a beautiful Seacoast area with four seasons, approximately 55 minutes from Boston.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will perform diagnostic evaluations of pediatric patients' mental and preliminary physical conditions, provide psychiatric treatment, lead interdisciplinary teams, maintain patient records, develop aftercare plans, instruct interns, nurses, and mental health professionals, attend professional conferences, and perform other related work as required.
Call Coverage:
The selected candidate must be available for night and weekend calls as per the coverage schedule.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited residency program in general adult psychiatry followed by a fellowship in child psychiatry.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New Hampshire and a valid DEA license.
- Board certification in adult and child psychiatry. Candidates who have completed their residency/fellowship within the past 5 years may be considered eligible but must complete board certification within 5 years from the date of completion of their training.
- Knowledge of Child Psychiatry theories, principles, and practices.

Seacoast Mental Health Center offers a generous compensation package including paid time off, health and dental plans, retirement account match, etc.
Loan Repayment Program Eligibility:
Candidates may be eligible for the NH State Loan Repayment program for up to $75,000 for a minimum service obligation of 36 months with an opportunity for an extension for an additional 24 months at $40,000.
