Facility Types include Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures, Water Treatment, and Energy Storage facilities.Systems covered are HVAC and Plumbing.Areas of focus include Power Generation Halls, Administrative offices, Warehouses, Maintenance areas, Workshops, Laboratories, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Centers, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generators, Blowers/Air Compressors, Wastewater treatment facilities, and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.
Studies and Analysis:

  • Energy Audits and Efficiency evaluations
  • Engineering studies, system performance assessments, and energy compliance calculations
  • Code Review and Application
  • Facility assessments for code compliance
  • Sustainable Design and LEED strategies
  • Implementation of sustainable practices

Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE Handbooks and Standards
  • Understanding of ASPE design handbooks
  • Proficiency in SMACNA Standards
  • Awareness of NFPA standards
  • Experience with computer-generated HVAC heat loads, energy modeling, and HVAC equipment sizing
  • Technical submittal and bid review processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu
  • Familiarity with Revit 3D Modeling.
  • LEED AP certification is required, with experience in obtaining LEED certification for industrial buildings.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is preferred.
  • PE License is preferred.

Education:
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology is also preferred. Typically, a minimum of 11 years of related work experience is required.

All candidates must be prepared to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
