Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Wound Ostomy department
- Manage wound care and ostomy needs for patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care and ostomy best practices
- Current RN licensure and certification in Wound Ostomy
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Wound Ostomy
- Travel experience and skills in Wound Vac dressings/placements/wound debridement/ostomy care and pouch changes/ostomy teaching
- Flu vaccination required
- Current BLS certification
- NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE License
Unit: Wound Ostomy Team (Arthur M Blank Scottish Rite)
Shift: Mon-Fri - 10HR shifts (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
OT: After 48
Floating Required: Yes Will be needed at BOTH Egleston Scottish Rite campus
Scrub Color: Any Color
Unit Specifics:
- Specialty equipment - Specialty bed recommendations for weight distribution and Wound Vac knowledge
- Other needed competencies - Wound vac dressings/placements/wound debridement/ostomy care and pouch changes/ostomy teaching
APN Consulting Inc. requires the flu vaccination for the flu season. They WILL NOT accept ANY exemptions (this includes medical/religious).
