Position OverviewWe are in search of individuals who are enthusiastic about assisting the Department of Defense in maintaining its technological edge by leveraging both current and emerging technologies to address identified capability gaps, opportunities, and threats.
The selected individual will primarily work on-site in a government setting within the National Capitol Region.This role involves providing support to OSD R&E through stakeholder engagement, research, evaluation, and technical assistance in the transition of key technologies to operational users.
This is a remarkable opportunity for a qualified candidate to engage at the forefront of defense technology concepts, testing, and deployment.
This position demands a blend of geospatial intelligence knowledge, operational experience, communication proficiency, and program management skills.This role is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in technology transition and working groups
- Identify and implement advanced modeling & simulation capabilities to facilitate the transition of cutting-edge warfighting architectures for operational application and the development of necessary capabilities
- Formulate strategic and technical plans
- Conduct research to support procurement activities, timelines, and technology/system transfer
- Provide support for assessments, demonstrations, and field trials
- Perform quantitative analyses of system/mission requirements concerning the integration of advanced technologies
- Assemble senior advisory panels to conduct studies and evaluations on systems and technologies
- Define test objectives and procedures
Travel may be necessary to fulfill tasks, including travel within the CONUS and OCONUS, as well as within the NCR for meetings, conferences, and training.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technological field
- A minimum of 15 years of experience as a GEOINT analyst
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and Joint teams to address capability assessments for operational and strategic challenges
- Experience in processing multi-discipline intelligence to produce fused analysis, indications and warnings, and other threat assessments
- Experience working with COCOMs is highly desirable, along with a network of active contacts within the intelligence community
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required
- Master's degree in a scientific or technological field
- Experience advising and briefing government leadership on critical political, military, or irregular warfare capabilities in support of operational and tactical planning
