In this critical position, you will be responsible for addressing intricate product challenges, spearheading root cause investigations, and executing engineering remedies for both commercial and military aviation projects. Your role will involve direct engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, collaborating closely with production teams to uphold the utmost standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations and resolve technical, operational, and quality challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design and implement product and process enhancements through creative methodologies.
- Perform root cause analysis, devise solutions for non-conformances, and assist with on-site repairs.
- Engage with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and take part in design evaluations.
- Deliver technical training and formulate procedures for non-destructive testing.
Essential Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship with the capability to secure a Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural and electrical repairs, particularly in aircraft systems.
- Proficiency in interpreting and producing engineering drawings, specifications, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 8 years of experience in troubleshooting avionics systems, wire bundle installations, and defect resolution.
- Materials Review Board (MRB) certification and experience with executive interior installations.
