At Bot Auto, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Camera Software Engineer to join our team. As an Autonomous Vehicle Camera Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the imaging pipeline and software stack to optimize system performance and improve image quality for computer vision applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop the architecture and pipeline for camera image processing, from the camera to the perception module.
  • Collaborate with vendors, vehicle subsystems, manufacturing, service, and other teams to define requirements and optimize optical performance and reliability.
  • Develop, debug, and maintain robust C/C++ software for the camera software stack, focusing on high-framerate camera and vision processing components.
  • Create and maintain offline image benchmarking tools to ensure high-quality visual data.
  • Design V&V test cases, code check rules, and associated tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
Requirements:
  • Extensive expertise in embedded software design.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming, with a thorough understanding of modern standards, multithreading, and Python.
  • Deep knowledge of digital camera systems, covering color filters, exposure control, timing, hardware and software triggers, drivers, and time synchronization techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISP pipelines, drivers, and tuning parameters.
  • Experience or familiarity with Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and related software concepts.
  • Competent in software development on Linux platforms, with additional proficiency in embedded Linux targets being advantageous.
