Job Summary

The Housekeeper will perform daily housekeeping activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at the Convalescent Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing facilities and equipment.
  • Follow written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning compounds and solutions.
  • Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 30 pounds to a minimum height of 2 feet and push, pull, move, and/or carry said weight a minimum of 20 feet.
  • Make independent decisions and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Preferred experience in janitorial work.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping practices and long-term care settings.
