Job Title: Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team at Javitch Block LLC. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for managing case files, formulating next course of action, and representing the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage case files and develop strategies for resolution
  • Represent the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances
  • Work closely with partners and professional staff to achieve case goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of civil litigation experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in Creditors' Rights or Collection fields preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong investigative skills and ability to uncover facts and causes of action
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work as part of a team
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education and Training:
  • Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.)
  • Ohio license required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Subrogation or insurance experience a plus
