We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Specialist to join our team at Denton County Defunct. As an IAM Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple enterprise systems, including IAM, password management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure the security of county assets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily administration, configuration, and support of IAM, PAM, and MFA to grant, modify, and revoke access to systems and applications according to predefined security policies.
- Develop and maintain information security policies and standards to improve the county's security posture and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of user accounts and access to ensure the IAM technology and configured controls directly support county, CJIS, PCI, and HIPAA policies and other regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders on the operation of the IAM system, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, integrations, and overall user lifecycle management.
- Work with the Information Security Team to review and communicate security vulnerabilities and risks to stakeholders and support remediation efforts.
- Associate degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, or cybersecurity, preferred.
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks and standards such as NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, and PCI.
- Knowledge of information security concepts and controls, computer networking, and TCP/IP addressing preferred.
