Job Overview:

A TriHealth Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to all patients through distributive and clinical functions. The Clinical Pharmacist collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure the appropriateness of all elements of pharmaceutical care and operates within policies and procedures to manage the department's clinical and consultative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides optimal pharmaceutical care to patients through distributive and clinical functions.
  • Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure the appropriateness of all elements of pharmaceutical care.
  • Operates within policies and procedures to manage the department's clinical and consultative services.
  • Supervises the work of supportive team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency of distributive services.
  • Serves as a drug information resource for TriHealth providers.
  • Directly interacts with patients to provide pharmaceutical care.
  • Precepts pharmacy residents and/or student pharmacists.
  • Contributes to department projects or initiatives in collaboration with Pharmacy Leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Pharmacist licensure.
  • Working knowledge of all Ohio Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy.
Working Conditions:

The Clinical Pharmacist works in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to work collaboratively with diverse multidisciplinary teams is essential. The job requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
