About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering patient care practices, completing ancillary tasks, and maintaining equipment and work areas in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Administer sound patient care practices according to department and hospital policies/procedures.
  • Maintain Radiation Safety: Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Operate Equipment: Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide Clinical Services: Provide clinical services according to Nuclear Medicine practice standards while acting as a resource to Nuclear Medicine students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate's school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Certifications: ARRT-N or CNMT obtained within one year of hire date, NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date, Registered State Inspector - Virginia within 3 months.
  • Experience: Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.
  • Skills: Basic Life Support upon start.
