Position Overview:
As a crucial member of our logistics team, the Order Picker/Packer will be responsible for efficiently selecting and packing customer orders to ensure timely delivery. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of operations within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize a voice-activated headset to navigate to designated shelf locations and accurately pick the required quantities of products as per customer orders.
  2. Carefully place selected items into totes or boxes, preparing them for delivery, and transport completed orders to the invoicing area.
  3. Print invoices for finalized customer orders, verify the contents of totes and boxes against these invoices, and securely seal packages for dispatch.
  4. Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse by dusting shelves, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash as needed.
  5. Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to support overall operations.
  6. Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (at least 8 hours during a shift).
  2. Occasional bending at the neck and waist (up to 3 hours during a shift).
  3. Ability to squat occasionally (up to 3 hours during a shift).
  4. Frequent simple grasping with hands (at least 8 hours during a shift).
  5. Regular reaching above and below shoulder level (between 3 and 6 hours during a shift).
  6. If assigned to the DME department, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs infrequently (up to 2 times per week).
