Procurement Specialist

Purchasing Buyer plays a crucial role in the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and reconciling purchase orders, invoices, and other documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborating with vendors to ensure products are delivered on schedule and purchasing terms are clear.
• Storing and retrieving purchase orders, proof of purchase, pricing quotes, receipts, and other necessary documents to report accurate spending figures to finance.
• Verifying bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders and approving bills for payment.
• Entering purchase orders for services, materials, and spare parts per demand or as directed by manager.
• Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
• Evaluating vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
• Managing all supplier-related activities and authority to commit company resources, including forecasting data, monitoring, and addressing supplier quality and delivery performance.
• Tracking internal demand and material assets to optimize purchase.
• Meeting all deadlines, including reporting, expediting, and other tasks.

Purchasing Buyer will perform analytical, operational, and administrative tasks in support of Managers and Buyers involved in the purchase of goods, assets, processes, patents, copyrights, or possession of other services.
