Procurement Specialist

Newton Design, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to manage supplier costs, quality, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing and/or electrical fields, with a strong understanding of key technical terms and the ability to read engineering drawings.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing parts from existing vendors and finding new suppliers, ensuring they have a full understanding of our requirements and expectations. This role will also involve managing and scheduling pickups, overseeing company vehicle maintenance and scheduling, receiving parts in, creating shipping documents, maintaining the RFID inventory control system, scheduling material handling equipment for on-site activities, coordinating outbound shipping, kitting parts for assemblies, and overall warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous experience as a Procurement Specialist at a manufacturing and/or electrical company
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ISO9001:2015 or AS9100

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year. The ideal candidate will be able to relocate to Catoosa, OK 74015 before starting work.
The work location is in person, and the schedule is Monday to Friday. The ability to relocate is required.
