The Clinical Supervisor RN is a key member of the Providence Medical Group team, responsible for overseeing the performance of clinical staff, providing coaching and mentoring, and implementing clinical best practices. This role is an integral part of the clinic leadership team, bringing a professional nursing perspective and expertise to the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance of clinical staff, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Providence Medical Group standards.
  • Collaborate with the clinic leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans, improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve staff performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience.
  • Associate Nursing degree with a minimum of 3 years recent RN experience.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • 3 years - RN experience managing complex patients, or successful completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program.
  • Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff within an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting.
  • 3 years - Demonstrated experience with providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training and performance evaluation.
  • 3 years - Experience providing patient education.
