Project Director

We are seeking a skilled Project Director to lead our New Product Introduction (NPI) teams at Barrington James. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.

• Collaborate with Sales to prepare project estimates and proposals, aligning with customer needs.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, managing timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and plans, utilizing MS Project.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and meeting milestones.
• Monitor and mitigate risks, providing solutions and escalating when necessary to ensure project success.
• Mentor team members and contribute to process improvements within the organization.

• Prior experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in product development or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams towards shared goals.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Project, for efficient project planning and tracking.
• Familiarity with industry standards, such as FDA/ISO 13485, is an asset.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, demonstrating your academic foundation.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in product development or manufacturing.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Project, for streamlined project management.
