This role is specifically focused on the Echo Tech specialty, involving travel employment opportunities. Methodist Hospital is renowned for its patient-focused care and diverse specialties, including cardiology, cancer care, and more. The unit specializes in Non-Invasive Cardiology and Cardiac Ultrasound, providing a dynamic work environment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience
- Ability to perform echocardiograms independently
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and disease processes
- BLS certification
- ARDMS certification is essential
- Preferred skills include TEE, Stress Echoes, Vascular, and Meditech experience
Schedule Information:
- Assignment Length: 24 weeks
- Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekend work required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Unit Specific Information:
- Equipment: Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Procedures performed on unit: 75-80 per day, primarily portable
