DILLIGAS CORP is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Nellis Air Force Base. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team by performing a range of tasks, including pharmaceutical dispensing, information consultation, and supply process duties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures, including filling new outpatient/inpatient prescription orders, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
- Provide information consultation services, including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, and monitoring for drug interactions.
- Manage supply processes, including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, and inventory maintenance.
- Respond to urgent situations, including Cardiac Arrest, Trauma, and 'Code Blue' life support situations.
- Compound medications as required using sterile techniques.
- Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), or certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), or exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT), or successful completion of a formal pharmacy technician program.
- BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- A minimum of 12 months of full-time experience within the last 36 months as a pharmacy technician.
- PTCB or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) or state licensing/certification.
