Key Responsibilities
  • Assure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with other Electrical Technicians and support a team approach in achieving company goals.
  • Assure that all electrical work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that electrical work is properly coordinated and executed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical technology or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical work, preferably in a shipyard or marine environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires regular attendance on-site and may involve working weekends and extended hours. The successful candidate must be able to access all work locations, including government and private shipyards and/or vessels.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $ per hour. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity.
